Set at the Lovis Restaurant, one of Berlin’s hidden gems, launched its first ever homeware collection in collaboration with H&M Home. These colourful functional objects adorned the space, standing strong amongst a dark and muted backdrop. The tables were laden with abstract florals by Carolin Ruggaber and hero pieces from the collection including the double hoop candlestick holders and sculptural vase. 's founder, Amelie Reich and H&M Home’s Head of Design, Evelina Kravaev-Söderberg were joined by the best of the design and fashion industry to celebrate this union over an 8 course tasting menu.
The Space: Lovis at the Wilmina Hotel, was a former women’s prison and courtyard. Now a newly refurbished space of secret gardens, rich culture and culinary splendour, Lovis was the perfect haven for the launch.
The People: And while the location was nothing short of a dream, it really is about the people. We were surrounded by editors, influencers, tastemakers and artists from around europe, including Henrik Lischke from British Vogue, Victoria Brzezinski from The Times, Prudence Ivey from the Evening Standard, Curator and Interior Influencer, Nella Beljan, Editor of Journelle, Jessie Weiß, Ceramicist Latika Nehra and many more.
Amelie’s Favourite Piece:
's Founder shares her favourite piece: “The big looping sculptural vase in red is the MUST buy piece from this collection. It has a vintage vibe while still being contemporary — a unique and perfect balance. Bold but feminine, architectural but tender. It stands out in both a muted coloured home but also a colourful one” says Amélie Riech.
