As the year ends, uncommon matter's founder, Amélie Riech, reflects on what’s happened and what’s ahead.
2024 has held many highlights for um. Bright sparks include our wonderful feature interview in Vogue Germany, the exciting launch of um at NET-A-PORTER, the joy of seeing our designs on the incomparable Jennifer Lopez. Also, our series honoring our creative Muses and the Love Edition Exhibition — they’ve all given us a year to remember.
And so have all of you. Every order we receive is a compliment and encourages us to keep creating. It’s such an honor to be able to live out our design dreams, thanks to our beloved customers and followers, the people who cherish the pieces we make and allow them adorn their days and nights.
We can’t wait to see what 2025 will bring. We’re grateful you are by our side to watch our brand evolve and even inspire others.
